Nora Blair

Even as a child Nora Blair had an interest in colors and shapes but didn’t begin painting until she moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1974. After two years of painting she was asked to teach a beginner class. That was the beginning of 25 years of teaching adults in the media of oils. She has worked in acrylic, fabric and watercolor, but oil painting remains her favorite.

From 1988 until 2000 she was a partner in a studio in Jonesboro, but since retirement has taken up the wonderful old art form of china painting. Currently she is working on portraits of her eleven grandchildren.
