Cressida Chance
While living in England I loved the opportunities I had to engage with children, community groups and artists while teaching and later working in museums. When I moved to Tyrone, GA in 2000, after marrying Ronnie, a ‘local’, I had time to spend on my own painting.
Painting has always been a source of great enjoyment and satisfaction for me, and remains so. I would consider myself a self taught artist; studying art at High School and subsequently taking evening classes while in England. I work mostly with watercolor and have more recently been using acrylics; having grown up in the countryside I am very inspired by the beauty of nature. What takes most of my time right now is taking care of our two little girls who are both very enthusiastic whenever the paints come out!
