Fiona Dennis
Fiona is originally from Jamaica and has been living in the United States since 1982. She resides in Peachtree City with her husband Mark, and two children. "It is my desire that my art will reflect the beauty in the everyday world. I enjoy painting simple things, landscapes and everyday objects using rich vibrant colors that radiate energy and movement. Beauty surrounds us everywhere, whether in a peony blossoming in my flower garden, or the cardinals and hummingbirds feeding on the deck. It is my hope that my art brings joy to those who come in contact with it and that it enriches the space and happiness of those who share it in their homes."
She can be found painting plein air with Elsa Sibley and the group, and credits Lydia Ellis and Helen Hayes as being wonderful teachers and friends. Fiona works in watercolors, acrylics and oils and has artwork displayed at the Verbena gallery at the Veranda Inn and Creative Canvas- both located in Senoia. She is a member of the Fayette Society of Fine Art in Fayetteville and Fine Art and Craft Entrepreneurs and the Newnan Coweta Arts Association.
This is the fourth year she has painted a chair for Chair-ity and has enjoyed it immensely
