Kristin Hauch
As a bright, young artist, Kristin studied under Greg Grant in Ormond Beach, Florida, for several years where she developed a solid foundation for realistic drawing and painting. Her talents flourished, and at the young age of 12 she was invited to Washington D.C. to receive national recognition for an original acrylic still life painting entitled “Of Mice and Men.” Kristin continued to follow her passion while in high school, and in 2002 several of her pieces were displayed at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum.
Kristin went on to pursue graphic design and advertising, and in 2006 she graduated college with a degree in Advertising and Business Administration and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to take a position with a national advertising agency.
Having finally combined her passion for horses and art, Kristin currently works as the Director of Marketing for Flying Change, a nationally recognized non-profit organization that provides equine assisted psychotherapy to at-risk and abused teens in Atlanta, Georgia. She now specializes in creating equine art using either charcoal, inkwash, or acrylic paint.
As proof that true passions are never outgrown, Kristin is often found at the stables either horseback riding, teaching, or sketching her horse, Porter.
